Welcome to Radar Dating (“Radar”). By accessing or using Radar (including our website and web app), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use Radar.

TL;DR

  • You must be 18+ to use Radar.
  • Don’t be abusive, creepy, or fake.
  • Radar is built for real-life connection. There is no chat.
  • You control visibility and private zones, but you’re responsible for your real-life meetups.
  • You can delete your account anytime.
  • We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms.

1) Who we are

Radar Dating is currently operated by goodpecker (pre-company), planning registration in Lithuania.

When we say “Radar”, “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean the operator of Radar Dating. When we say “you”, we mean you as a user.

2) What these Terms cover

These Terms apply to:

  • radardating.com and any related pages
  • the Radar web app and related services
  • any features, tools, and content we provide

Your use is also covered by our Privacy Policy and any future community or safety rules we publish.

3) Eligibility (who can use Radar)

To use Radar, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be able to enter a legally binding agreement in your country
  • use Radar for personal use (not for business scraping, data mining, or spam)

If you don’t meet these requirements, you must stop using Radar and delete your account.

4) Your account

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information (especially age and identity)
  • keep your login details private
  • use your real name (or a real version of it). Accounts using fake names may be restricted.

We may restrict or remove accounts that appear to be fake, misleading, or created for abuse/spam.

5) How Radar works (important)

Radar is designed to support real-life connection:

  • It shows nearby people based on compatibility and proximity
  • It uses location while Radar is active
  • It shows your location to other users only in an approximate way
  • It includes privacy features like geofence zones
  • There is no chat. The first connection is meant to happen in real life.

6) Safety and real-life meetups

Radar can help you feel more confident, but it can’t guarantee anyone’s intentions or behavior.

You are responsible for:

  • using good judgment when approaching or meeting someone
  • meeting in public places, especially at first
  • respecting boundaries and consent
  • following local laws and staying safe

We do not run background checks or identity verification. If you ever feel unsafe, leave the situation and contact local authorities if needed.

7) Community rules (what you can’t do)

You agree not to:

  • harass, threaten, stalk, bully, shame, or harm anyone
  • post sexual content, nudity, or violent content
  • discriminate or promote hate based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality
  • impersonate someone or misrepresent your age or identity
  • share someone else’s personal info (phone number, address, social media, etc.)
  • use Radar for scams, escorting/solicitation, spam, or money requests
  • scrape, copy, or collect user data using bots or scripts
  • reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt to hack the Service

If you break these rules, we can restrict or terminate your account.

8) Reports and enforcement

Users can report other users. We may review reports and take action, including:

  • warnings
  • feature restrictions
  • temporary suspension
  • permanent removal

We don’t promise we’ll take a specific action in every case, but we take safety seriously and do our best.

9) Your content (photos and profile info)

You keep ownership of the content you upload (like your profile photo and profile text).
By uploading it to Radar, you give us permission to:

  • host and display it in the Service (so other users can see your profile)
  • use it to operate and improve Radar
  • store it as part of your account

You promise you have the right to upload the content and it doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights.

We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

10) Our content and branding

Radar’s app, design, name, logo, and code are owned by us (or licensed to us). You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

11) Paid features (not yet)

Right now, Radar is free.
If we introduce paid plans or premium features later, we’ll update these Terms and clearly show pricing and cancellation rules at purchase time.

12) Service availability

We’re early-stage. That means:

  • features can change
  • some parts may be unstable
  • we may pause or discontinue the Service (or parts of it)

We’ll try to keep Radar working smoothly, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted access.

13) Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account anytime in settings.

We may also suspend or terminate your account if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • you create risk for other users
  • we suspect fraud, spam, or abuse

When your account is deleted, your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

14) Disclaimer

Radar is provided “as is” and “as available”. We don’t guarantee:

  • that you’ll meet someone
  • that someone will approach you
  • that matches will always exist nearby
  • that the Service will be error-free

15) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Radar is not liable for:

  • your interactions with other users
  • real-life meetups or outcomes
  • indirect or unexpected damages (loss of data, lost opportunities, etc.)

If the law in your country gives you consumer rights that can’t be waived, those rights still apply.

16) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, unless your local consumer protection laws require something else.

If you’re in the EU/EEA, you may also have the right to bring claims in your country of residence under applicable consumer law.

17) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Radar grows. If changes are important, we’ll post an updated version and update the effective date. By continuing to use Radar after changes, you agree to the updated Terms.

FAQ

Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers

1. Is Radar safe to use?

Yes. Safety and privacy are core to how Radar works.
You control where you’re visible using geofence zones, so places like home or work stay private. We also do routine profile checks to reduce fake or low-effort accounts and keep the experience respectful.

2. How does Radar protect my privacy?

Radar only shows you to people who match your preferences, and only when you choose to be visible.
There’s no public feed, no scraping, and no selling your data. You’re in control at all times.

3. How much does it cost?

Radar will be free to use during the early phase.
In the future, we plan to introduce optional premium features, but the core experience will always stay accessible.

4. Why is there no chat?

People are designed to connect in real-life, not on apps. Instead of endless messaging, we help remove the awkwardness so the first conversation happens face to face, where chemistry actually matters.

5. Who is Radar for?

Radar is for people who want to meet naturally in real life, but appreciate a bit of clarity before making the first move. If you’re tired of guessing and overthinking, Radar is for you.

6. What makes Radar different?

We don’t try to keep you scrolling.
Radar is built to work once - help you meet someone and then get out of the way.
