Radar is strictly for adults 18 years of age and older. If you are under 18, please do not use our app.

Account Creation Data: When you create an account on Radar, we collect the following information that is necessary to provide you access to our app:

Profile Information: You can also choose to share additional information in your profile, including:

  • Biography/description
  • Interests
  • Photos for your profile

Content Data: When you use Radar, you can choose to share:

  • Photos and videos, which are stored for 24 hours after you activate the Radar feature.
  • Your GPS location, which is collected and shared while the Radar feature is activated.
  • Interactions with other users, such as waves.

Communications with Radar: When you report a concern, request assistance, or interact with our support team, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • Content of your communication with us
  • Any additional information you choose to share with us

1.2 Data We Collect When You Use Our App

As you use Radar, we automatically collect information about your device and usage of our app:

Connection and Technical Data:

  • IP address
  • Device type
  • Operating system version
  • Language preference
  • Account creation date
  • Last login

Device Identifiers:

  • Mobile advertising IDs (you can reset or disable these through your device settings)
  • Device identifiers

Usage Data:

  • Actions performed in the app
  • Time spent using the Radar feature
  • Interactions with other users
  • Pages visited
  • Application crashes and event logs

Geolocation Data:

  • We collect your precise location data when you activate the Radar feature
  • We may also infer your country, city, and region based on your IP address

3.1 Sharing Within Radar

Radar Employees: Authorized Radar employees may access your information to provide you with support. We strictly limit who can access your data.

Service Providers: We work with service providers who help us deliver our services:

  • Firebase (for hosting and cloud services)
  • Technical support providers
  • Security services

3.2 Sharing With Third Parties

Legal and Statutory Purposes: We may share information in response to legal requests, court orders, or when required by law.

Change in Ownership: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, Radar may transfer information about you. This Privacy Policy would apply to all transferred information.

4. International Transfers

Your data is stored on Firebase servers, which may be located outside your country of residence. When this involves transfers outside of your country or region, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information.

5. How Long We Keep Information About You

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information, though some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

6. Your Controls Over Your Information

Location Settings: You can control when the Radar feature is activated, which determines when we collect and share your precise location data.

Profile Information: You can edit or delete profile information at any time through your account settings.

Block Users: You can block users you don’t want to interact with.

Delete Your Account: You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you delete your account, your profile and personal information will be removed from our systems.

7. Your Rights Over Your Information

Depending on your location, you may have various rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to access: You can request a copy of your personal information
  • Right to correction: You can request correction of inaccurate information
  • Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your personal information
